Located in Shannon Town, St. Aidan’s N.S. is a warm, welcoming, all-inclusive primary school located in the townland of Smithstown, Shannon. St. Aidan’s offers children from age 4-12 a holistic education, in a safe, friendly supportive environment. Having gone from strength to strength since it was established in 1982 St. Aidan’s now boasts an Astroturf, sensory garden, soft-play ground, sensory room as well as other exceptional facilities and resources, including an on-site pre-school.
St. Aidan’s prides itself on its warm, friendly, welcoming atmosphere. There is a strong sense of community in St. Aidan’s thanks in part to parents of our school who work whole-heartedly and harmoniously alongside the school for the better good of each and everybody in our school. It is a place where every endeavour is made to create an environment where all can grow to their full potential.
